at that time, I was still at school and dreaming of having my very own dog, a German Shepherd. about a year later, I did get a dog, a German Shepherd called Jacinda Of Von Laine (Hney). She was to prove to be my best friend and I had her for many years.

The snow and spring weather have provided many photographic opportunites

Today I finished a project that I had been wanting to produce for some time.

The project was a tribute to my wonderful Arabian stallion Quassa who passed away on the 9th of February this year.

Quassa was born at Lawrence Arabians and was the first colt, hence we referred to him as "The Boy". He was the most  honest and genuine little horse that God gave life to and we were privilged to have him in our lives.

As long as I am alive, I shall miss "The Boy".

Check out the movie .

Well, winter is with us now, but still plenty of oppertunites to record the beauty all around us.

June is here and it is still warm. The grass is still growing and the atmosphere has been lacking the clarity of the winter's days in previous years. It has been quite challenging to take good photographs.

Below is a shot of the Waitaki river as it continues to cut into the south bank, taking away valuable farm land  and all the while edging closer to our own property.

Many years ago I was commissioned to paint a famous harness horse called One Over Kenny. The people who comissioned me were thrilled with the picture. However, time gallops on, on in this case, paces on, and circumstance change.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Just a few snaps is all I have managed to take.
